It increases the yield, saves water, crop grows consistently ,fertiliser is used effectively and labour use gets reduced.
2. Shrimp Culture
In the past few years, many people from my village started converting agriculture lands to ponds, shrimp farms are so crowded and unsanitary that producers must use high levels of pesticides, antibiotics in order to prevent disease. Residues of these toxins end up in the flesh of the shrimp, posing threats to consumer health. It is a risky business, most of them faced loss. It has effected both consumer and the farmers, so i like to change their mindset and turn them back to agriculture lands.
3. Mobile network and Internet
Phones in our village will be as good as dead, there are still no good mobile connections due to various reasons. Only 10-15 houses have internet connectivity. A comprehensive telecom development plan for mobile connectivity should be planned and try to make it achievable as soon as possible.
4. Health Care
There is no proper hospital and very few health workers in our village. In case of emergencies like heart attacks, paralysis it takes at least 45 min to reach a hospital in the nearest city. Hope we will have proper hospital in our village soon .
5. Technology
Farmers should start using the currently available tech which reduces the capital and increases the yield.

Few things that I think are present in the village today are: 
1.  Houses usually built of mud and straws rather than those built with bricks in the cities.
2. Greenary all around, where we find the cattle grazing the fields (cattle filed) , cows and birds chirping, hens moving around, children in the pond fishing and farmers harvesting/farming.
3. Wells for water 
4. Windmills
5. Electricity for around 10 hrs a day only.
6. Culture- 
everyone participating in various activities in villages and celebrating festivals

Few Facilities I believe that ought to be in villages in the coming future is: 
1. Proper built houses, That can withstand rain/storm or any strong wind.
2. Better medical facilities- at least one hospital present there or any device present so that there is communication with the doctors present in the city.
3.  Network facility along with internet connectivity  so that there is communication with other people in the city and also to other relatives elsewhere.
4. At least one grocery cum medical  store where people can buy their required stuff as per their convenience. 
5. Proper irrigation system.

As the time goes even villages are developing in one or other way with new cultivation techniques,electricity,education,hospitals,etc.I don't say all of the villages develop but some torchbearer arises one day and take a step and development starts.In that way every village is changing day by day.So houses built of mud and straws change to well-built houses with cement,unavailability of medicines to availability of hospitals,lack of education to well educated graduates,so on in the future or it is or it has depending on the village.However as being part of live-in-labs we are gonna develop a village which is gonna develop in future speaking about that it will just have the agriculture as the prominent source of income for them with many more development required regarding hospitals,schools,etc.]]> 2020-09-29 17:26:33 UTC https://padlet.com/renjithmcent/i234z8fijr8tl68d/wish/788890040 https://padlet.com/renjithmcent/i234z8fijr8tl68d/wish/789157224 Though the only time i spent in village was during my childhood, The peaceful livelihood and greenary are hard to forget.
I was not a village resident but i spent many memorable summers at my grandparents home.
There are few things i would rather prefer. My primary concern is to have a clean environment. Dumping of waste is quite disorganised in my village which not only  pollutes the environment but it also affects the health of the villagers. So i would like to have  a proper waste and sewage management system.  waste to power management system could possibly be implemented. I would like my village to have more compost pits too.
Second concern is the lack of well built houses. Its very hard for people to spend harsh rainy seasons in houses built of mud and straws. Similary electricity is the next big problem in villages. Shifting to solar power wont happen anytime soon bu ti would love to watch it happen.
My last but not the least concern is lack of proper medical facilities. Even to this day people of many villages have to travel many miles to visit a decent medical facility. Though this may not seem like a major problem this is the worst of all as many lives are lost because of lack of proper medical facilities. If not a hospital there should atleast be a small medical center with decent facilities.

Village is where you can find a great sleep which you will not get in a suite room. Then, food offered in the village will not be so tasty but you can experience the freshness in all the food which we have. The above mentioned points were not exaggerated those things are which I see everytime when I go to my Grandma's home which is near Walayar. Only a very few villages would be same as in olden days. And even today there will be lot of farm lands in villages and there will be wells near by it in my village and in agricultural area they will be also using modern irrigation systems such as drip irrigation and sprinkle irrigation. There also would be a lot of water bodies in the villages which would save the rain water it also increases ground water resources. And in some of the houses they will be also growing cattles. The environment will also be much more peaceful than that of the city.And there are some ares in which our village lacks those are medical facility and infrastructure of the village, because still there areas which have mud roads which would be very difficult to use if there  is heavy rain.
