We arrived here on Thursday, the 14th instant, from St. Louis, on the steamer Dove, making the trip in the short space of eleven days from New Albany to this place. Thus far, with the exception of a little trouble with our cattle, our trip has been a pleasant one. The boys enjoyed themselves finely, and have jogged along with cheerful hearts and bright hopes of the future.
