         <description><![CDATA[<blockquote>Pere II d'Aragó was born in Valencia in 1240. He was the son of James I and the father of James II. His difficult challenge was inheriting the catalanoaragonese crown. He reign during sixty years. Thus, on 16 November 1276, when he was thirty-six, he recieved the peninsular territory in Zarogza, while his brother recieved the Rosselló, Cerdanya and Montpellier territories.<br>His reign was a challenge and his nickname shows us that many people remembered him: we know him as "The Great".<br><br></blockquote>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<blockquote>Peter died from an illness at Vilafranca del Penedès on 11 November 1285, just one month after his royal foe Philip III of France. After fifteen years of his death, his son ordered to rebury him in Santes Creus, in a roman bath made up of a valuable material: porphyry, and covered with a sculpture.<br><br>James II, his son, was burryed next to his wife, Blanche of Anjou. Their sepulcre is on the other side of the major altar of the Santes Creus Church, next to the Peter the Great sepulcre.</blockquote><div><br></div>]]></description>
