When providing a positive physical environment there are some things that you should do. These include, Making sure there is enough space for students to easily move around with minimal crowding and distraction.
Making sure the temperature, lighting, and furniture support the learning of all students in the classroom.
Provide a quite place that students can go to to work if they feel they need to work away from distractions. 
Make sure the classroom is culturally diverse. With visual images and resources that reflect this. 
Make sure key messages, routines and strategies that support self-management for learning and behavior.
