Global warming can also be referred to as climate change. This has caused a relative increase in surface temperature which can affect the whole human race in general, this can cause the polar ice caps to melt and slowly raise the sea levels. This can also cull many species which cannot adapt to the changing climate. 

Generating electricity and heat by burning fossil fuels causes a large chunk of global emissions. Most electricity is still generated by burning coal, oil, or gas, which produces carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide – powerful greenhouse gases that blanket the Earth and trap the sun’s heat. Globally, a bit more than a quarter of electricity comes from wind, solar and other renewable sources which, as opposed to fossil fuels, emit little to no greenhouse gases or pollutants into the air.

1. The First big cause is burning fossil fuels; this is a man-made cause for climate change. Every Developed nation produces a lot of this pollution via creating electricity, or fueling are cars. The governments are trying to reduce these figures however they aren't working fast enough to replace these old methods.  

 

All of these require us to use energy which is normally and most commonly acquired by burning fossil fuels which are damaging the ozone layer increasing heat as more and more greenhouse gases are being emitted as more and more people are driving cars and moving into houses and cooking for themself which increases energy use tenfold.

Manufacturing and industry produce emissions, mostly from burning fossil fuels to produce energy for making things like cement, iron, steel, electronics, plastics, clothes, and other goods. Mining and other industrial processes also release gases, as does the construction industry. Machines used in the manufacturing process often run on coal, oil, or gas; and some materials, like plastics, are made from chemicals sourced from fossil fuels. The manufacturing industry is one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions worldwide. 

By trapping heat into our planet, carbon emissions also damage the human body and mind in other ways, the warmer temperatures are linked to a 2% increase in mental health issues such as stress, anxiety, and even PTSD 

The fact that global warming poses a threat to the environment and wildlife has been a public concern for years. Lesser known is the degree of global warming's direct impact on humans around the world. Research has been conducted to explore the effect on biological, ecological, and geological systems, but less research has focused on how humans specifically are affected by global climate change.
