Concepts: Supply chain is transforming a raw materials into products, and getting it to customers. Logistics is movement of materials in whole supply chain. Logistics management is a part of broad supply chain function which plans, manages and executes physical flow and storage of material from point of origin to its destination.

Challenges: How to control and manage logistic with right product, at the right place, at right cost to right customer at right time and right quantity with right conditional with the product.

Solutions:

1. using information technology to get more flexibility in terms of real-time tracking of shipments.

2. using transportation to movement ofgoods through supply chains via air, rail, road, water and pipeline selecting the most efficient combination improves the value created for customers.

3. warehousing is a place where goods can be stored when they are not in movement, that will be make sure goods are in good situation.

The resonated with me is logistic movement include 5 transportation such as air, road, water, rail and pipeline.

Surprised or challenged my existing knowledge is pipeline is a type of transportation to move the goods to the customer.

Specific concepts or ideas that sparked your curiosity is how do pipeline transportation move the goods to customers, and how do pipeline transportation ensure that the goods are move to the correct customers.

When we carry out online shopping or consignment of goods, we will use logistics to carry out cargo transportation activities. Now we are faced with the problem that we can not guarantee the delivery of the goods in the exact time and there are many restrictions on overseas shipping. If I have resources to tackle this challenges, I suggest to develop transnational cooperation agreements. That is because develop transnational logistics cooperation agreements to ensure coordination and mutual recognition among countries in logistics and improve the convenience of goods transportation.
