June thinks in paragraph 8 and 9 that there's a unwelcomed person in their house because its only her and her mom. June is having a nightmare, the cause of the nightmares is because of the other June. For example'', I woke up at night and heard footsteps slowly creeping up the stairs. It wasn't my mother, she was asleep in the bed across the room, so it was robbers, thieves, and murders, creeping slowly...slowly...slowly toward my bed.'' The other June is the cause of Junes nightmares. For example,'' Later, in the locker room, I dressed quickly and wrapped my wet suit in the towel. The other June pulled on her jeans. '' You guys see that bathing suit Fish Eyes was wearing? Her mother found it in a trash can.'' ,

What the reader can infer about June based on what she says about "robbers, thieves, and murderers that she is scared. I know this because it states " creeping slowly and slowly toward my bed. I stuffed my hand into my mouth." This means that she was scared and she put her hand in her mouth to not scream. In addition to that is says " the robbers and thieves filled the warm darkness and slipped across the floor more quietly than cats rigid under the covers" so this means that she was scared because they were so quiet so she went under the covers. So this means that she was so scared about the thieves and murderers coming in her dream because of the bullying happening at swimming class from the other June.

What the reader can infer about June based on what she says about "robbers, thieves, and murders in paragraph 8 and 9 is that she's scared. In paragraph 9 the text states, "rigid under the covers, I stared at the shifting dark." This evidence shows that she is scared , because she use the word "rigid". In addition in paragraph 9 the text states "and bit my knuckles and never knew when I fell asleep again." This shows that she was thinking about the robbers, thieves, and murders all night, because she says "not knowing when I would fall asleep again." These is what the reader can infer when June said "robber, thieves, and murder."

What the reader can infer about June based on what she says about the robbers, thieves, and murders is that she is scared. For example in the text it states, ‘I stuffed my hand into my mouth.”This evidence supports the claim that she is scared because she is trying to hold in a scream.Another example to support this claim is in the text it states,’The robbers and thieves filled the warm darkness and slipped across the floor more quietly than cats, rigid under the covers, I stared at the shifting dark and bit my knuckles and never knew when I feel asleep again.’ This evidence shows that June is scared because she was rigid under the covers, and rigid means stiff/ not bending. To sum it up this is how the readers know that June is scared based on what she said in paragraphs 8 and 9.

When June says "robbers, thieves, and murders" What to infer is how June is having nightmares, What June is going through is not in real life, Especially when she was with her mom she felt so safe, dancing around, Having fun. But when she wasn't with her at night she might've felt unsafe, in the text it states, "I stuffed my hand into my mouth, if I screamed and woke her, she'd be tired at work tomorrow." This text shows how she wanted to scream. This is what I think about when June says "robbers, thieves, and murders."
