 Hard to say that course wasn't interesting, I`ve learned a bunch of new words and my social worker terminology came to a new level.

Diplomatic work required a good level of English, especially a formal style of communication.  My responsibilities included writing letters, communicating with other documents, and documenting in English.
As for English practice, I've listened to a lot of podcasts, and I still have a bunch of books in English that I'm going to read in the summer.
