The miles of sands shift with the winds, forming crazy  patterns across the landscape. Cacti wait ready to bloom at the first sign of rain. But snakes and lizards don’t wait. The steaming hot days are chilly cold nights .The nights are blizzard cold. With little or no water, and no signs of food anywhere.
