God Respects our Freedom: Saint Madeleine Sophie was born during a time when Chrisitan education, especially towards girls, was suppressed. Though, she learned anyways. Her brother Louis taught her all the basic subjects, including heavily taught theology. She had a love for learning and preserved during tough times. She went on to become a teacher and a founder of school around today. She knew that God had given her free will, so she didn't listen to others and followed what she knew to be God. She followed God dreams, her dreams.

God is Relational: St. Madeleine Sophie from a young age believed in God and the Christian faith. Though she knew she wanted a stronger relation to him and wanted to help others too. She founded a Christian school which men and women, the poor, could all attend. She wanted everyone to have access to a stronger relation to God, and she knew she could do that if she had a place to teach them with prayer.
