They prepare the house for staff.

* I am going to the staff's house with the director and he fetch me at my house at 2 p.m

* So, at the highway the director give ride to the tourist (daughter and father) from Europe. They say that they does not has money and they just going to the jungle to sleep there for 3 days and 2 night and return back to their country.

* director (i'm call him sir) say that ' it's okay ' so after arrived at their destination they give thanks to all of us (3 people)

* I have learned many things about the tourism industry from the tourist.

* we arrived about 6 o'clock, so I introduced myself to the one staff and three other practical students from Kolej Komuniti Tambunan. All of us has six students, two staff including my friends who doing the SIEP also but I do not know when they will arrive.

* before that, we go to Pekan Tamparuli' to buy some food for 3 days and 2 night.

* the road to e'puda camp took us about 1 and a half hours to get there.

* So we cook our dinner using the firewood. 

* After dinner, We play two game which is called observation and connection. Actually the game is really easy but the trick drive me crazy.

* so this is the first time for me sleep in the jungle camp they also said the camp site had something weird at midnight but I does not have experienced it.

* Tomorrow we will has many things to do.

*repair damaged toilet

*looking for forest vegetables. 

*cooking for dinner using firewood which is wet but we thank the good staff for helping us. 

*I have learned many things such as knowing the type of food that can be eaten in the forests  and also the types of harmful animals such as snake.

Therefore, not much of the assignment we give. 
*That morning we cook fried rice and coffee. 
*after that we went to the waterfall to look for jungle vegetables while lifting bamboo. 
*While we cooked, the male student improved the broken barrier.after that we packed our things and go back to the house.

*We arrived at the staff house about 4 o'clock from 2 o'clock. today  Sir said he will explain about this company.
  • Qlu sabah holiday has two directors namely Meijin Magingou and Selvestone Junit. Qlu Sabah Holiday & Tours Sdn. Bhd. which is also known as Enjoy Borneo Adventure is a licensed tour operators and has been in operation since 2008. It is a growing adventure tour company currently specializing in white water rafting, mountain climbing, jungle trekking, camping touring, team building and jungle survival skills as well as offering other tour packages.
Sir Meijin has Two target for his company.
  1. Reopening epuda camp in september 2018. 
  2. Opening a new tourist area namely Luyucamp and a staff house which only takes 4 minutes from the staff house.
*so this is the target that will be our job as a student  since the tourist season has not yet arrived.*

After that we split the bamboo into four. Then the others clean the bamboo so that at the edge of the bamboo is not sharp and it is easily to carry later. 

*so coincidentally that day our sir have a meeting so only left students continue to do the work. We took a rest at 12 pm and continue at 2pm. We gathered at Kiulu town which will be our last check point. We boarded a bus to reach our starting point. Before that we had a briefing from the head of the outreach of Borneo. He said the purpose for jungle trekking was to see areas that could be developed as tourism. 

There are many obstacles we've been going through;
*being lost in the jungle because the rail has been fully covered by trees and we cannot find the original trails.
*We also went through an old broken bridge because there is no other way. 
*gentle soils that soak up the leg up to the thighs.
*high hill to climb.

*after we finish it, we put the bamboo in the back of the car and tied. We went back to the staff's house to pack clothes and foods for 3 days and 2 nights.

* after that, when we arrive we perforce to carry the bamboo on our shoulder through down the hill which is very challenging for us. *After we were ready to cook we were served and we had breakfast. after which the man continued their work by taking wood in the forest. while they take wood in the jungle agent from korea come to review a glimpse of the progress of the camp. 

*Sir and the agent sit and build a new plan for the future of the camp while we are repairing the toilet. That afternoon we stopped and the Korean agent ordered the woman to cook because she would be home shortly. 

*Sir was also a korean agent to take her home. after sir back there is a friend sir join to epuda named Jun.

*So only 7 people are in the camp to complete what is appropriate, 2 people go to the hospital to accompany Jun, the female staff and sir. so there are only 4 women and 3 men. 

*Just like the usual tasks that have been given to us. 
- Provide breakfast 
- fix toilet.

*So At 2pm, we went to the kiulu river which is 6 km from Luyu camp for tubing. The activity was fun but not so enjoyable because the river on that day was not great. 

*Usually when doing this activity is after rain so our body does not touch the stone and does not feel pain.

* while we were tubing two female students were lagging away due to heavy water as well as a huge rock causing her buoys to go far. so we had to wait for them to arrive. 

*There are so many challenges we've had when doing this activity like water going to other parts but our other direction is really different. so we use the hand as a paddle with its speed.

* Finally, we managed to get in 5 hours because of the unavoidable obstacles.
