However, these changes do not appear on the Canvas assignment page. Even after re-linking the updated document, the assignment on Canvas remains unchanged. The only way I’ve been able to get the changes to appear is by creating a completely new assignment and linking the updated Google Doc.

How can I get Canvas to reflect changes made to the Google Doc without having to recreate the assignment each time?
