         <title>The Cause of the American Revolution.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In 1763 the British won the French and Indian War, but it had been costly.  Needing to gain back their wealth, England taxed the colonists.  People had the right to disagree with the taxes with a representative in Parliament, but the colonies were not allowed a place in it.  The colonies were also only allowed to trade and import goods from Great Britan.  <br>The Sugar Act of 1764: This taxed sugar, wine, coffee, and some assortments of cloth.<br>The Stamp Act of 1765: This caused many to be angered by British Parliament and the King.  It taxed all imported paper goods.  It was repealed in 1766.<br>The Townshend Act: it taxed glass, paper, paint, and tea.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Lord Talbot, King George's head chief wasn't very good at getting things right.<br>At King George's coronation banquet Lord Talbot thought that it would be cool to make 2000 candles light all at once by making a line of wax to connect to every candle, it woudnt work as the wax had to let the fire travel for some time, and even set fire to some of the people at the banquet, which it did.<br>Then Lord Talbot forget to provide all the guests with chairs, and when he did find enough chairs for the guest there wasn't enough tables. And finally, because he thought it would save money, he didn't buy enough money to serve all the guests at the banquet. when the guest complained he asked the guests if they wanted to fight. sounds a little like 2018 to me!          <title>Boston&#39;s Role.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On June 10, 1768, a British crew took over john Hancock ship, a merchant known for smuggling molasses and tea into town.  A large fight broke out between colonists and solders. One official ended up bloody.<br>The violence done by Boston lead to King George III sending troops to camp in the center of town.<br>The Boston Massacre: British Private Hugh White was in an argument with Edward Garrick, and the colonists threw ice and snow at the British guard.  More guards came to the scene and shot and killed 5, while 6 others were wounded.<br>The Boston Tea Party: By 1770 all oof the Townshend acts had been abolished except one, the one on tea.          <description><![CDATA[<div>When the British came to America, the Americans felt that they were treated unfairly and they wanted a stronger government. They felt like this because the taxes were becoming out of hand and they didn't like it anymore. They wanted it to stop so they tried to persuade people to vote the current Government out or let them know that they were unhappy, but that wasn't gonna work. James Madison helped with that. He also helped with getting other people on track, such as the farmers. A lot of farmers couldn't pay off their farms so they protested and James Madison helped represent people like those farmers. He was  a speaker and wanted to resolve problems.</div>]]></description>
