At King George's coronation banquet Lord Talbot thought that it would be cool to make 2000 candles light all at once by making a line of wax to connect to every candle, it woudnt work as the wax had to let the fire travel for some time, and even set fire to some of the people at the banquet, which it did.
Then Lord Talbot forget to provide all the guests with chairs, and when he did find enough chairs for the guest there wasn't enough tables.
