Hello everyone,


My name is Kaylie Robidoux and I am taking this class to fulfill the global issues portion of my gen ed requirements so I can receive my diploma in August! I would have to say I thought my  knowledge of geography was pretty good until I read the first powerpoints that were listed in week one. Now I would say my knowledge is probably poor unfortunately. I hope to take away from this class a better understanding of the regions and the turmoil each faces compared to our own over here in the United States. I think that would be very interesting to learn about.

Good Morning Class,


     My name is Christopher Warner and I am currently enlisted in the United States Navy and at the Recruiting District in Boston.  I chose this class as a requirement for my degree in Business Administration.  I would say I have been very naïve on the importance of geography and the world today.  My interest is strengthening the more in depth into the reading I become.  I expect to become comfortable with discussing geography with peers and be able carry on basic conversations.  I look forward to working with all of you and it is great meeting you!

I look forward to gaining a better understanding of how geography plays into population and the location that they decide to live in.  I'm looking forward to working with everyone.
