Is that the unintended meaning? Sure. It actually hurt me that my piece broke before performing so some may take my genuine crying as performative.. it was hard to construct the wearability and honestly I thought more about the form and gesture instead of the logical engineering. If i had more stability and time this piece would be great but for now ill leave with the idea that it still needs to get better just like me. Its a piece about self harm, and entirely through the making I was cutting with a box cutter.
