Learners Level of Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

Prior Knowledge: Students have previously completed a basketball module and will have a good knowledge of skills associated with basketball and how they translate to other games as well. Students have an understanding of basketball rules and all basic principles of play

Prior Skills: Students have a moderate to high level of FMS for the majority of the class with a rich sporting environment in the school contributing to that

Prior Attitudes: Overall they are a lively, energetic and certainly an enthusiastic bunch. However is the case with most first year groups it is important that learners are kept active and engaged throughout the entire class as learners tend to become somewhat talkative if the task isn’t challenging or of interest to them.
