In my opinion, media, pop culture and peers also have certain influences on children's development, however, family is the main factor that strongly influences children's development.
                 On the one hand, friends, media and pop culture also exert impact on a child's developments. Firstly, the fact that children with similar personalities and interests play together to form groups, from which they can learn each other's ideas and behaviors, leading to the development of children. Secondly, with the development of technology, the children spend more time on devices such as game, movies, social platform, which Leads to behavioral influences from game characters or characters from cartoons. Finally, the fact that the pop culture wave is happening very densely also makes young people admire and imitate idol singers. Excessive idol worship will make children's psychology only want to be imitated by their idol's flashy things, which greatly affects their development.
                   On the other hand, family is something that has a profound influence on a child's later development. First, shaping the family's rules will create the foundation for the child's personality. When children are young, what their parents teach them will be important. Secondly, the child's parents are the role models for children to learn the most basic to form their own personality and thinking. Thus, the new family is the most important factor to influence the child's development in the future.

On the one hand, why do some people think that media, pop culture and friends affect on child's development? When children enter school age, they will have many friends. Their friends might have the same personalities or interest as them. So that their friend's activities could influence on their mind such as ideas and behavior by regular talk. Besides, the growing world means that children will have more access to media. This includes watching movies, listening to music, reading stories online. Since then children will be affected. 

On the contrary, there are also many people believe that family is the key factor contributing to the development of children. They believe companionship is the most important factor because parents are the first people children come into contact with when they are born. Parents are the ones who teach them etiquettes, code of etic. Moreover, parents are also role models to their children. A good role model can influence the child in a positive way. Further more, children spend most of their time with their families, and even in old age, parents are still by their side, so there is no doubt that family is the most crucial factor in helping children develop.

In conclusion, certainly the most important thing that goes along with the development of a child is the family. However, there are other factors that also contribute significantly.

These days, some people believe that media, pop culture and friends have a greater influence on the development of children than family , while others think that family has the most crucial role on their offspring. From my perspective, media, pop culture and friends contribute a huge part to children's development, although the growth of children depends more on their family.
On the one hand, the media, pop culture and friends all have their own effect on children. Firstly, each child has a group of friends created from some classmates who have the same hobbies and personalities. So they learn ideas from each other and it leads to impact their behavior. It means that if there are some violent students, their friends also tend to do something violent and this badly influences young ones. Secondly, pop culture is very popular in recent society and minors imitate the behavior from idols there. Turning to the last one, due to the development of technology, children spend most of their time on media. They watch and tend to mimic the characters although there are several games and movies which are not suitable for them.
 On the other hand, family is the main factor impacting the development of youngsters. Children spend most of their time with their parents. Therefore, they become a model of their offspring to imitate the way their parents behave. For instance, a little one learns by observing from family members around him such as how they speak and act in different situations, especially their mother and siblings who are the closest people to children. Therefore the personality and behavior of a child shows a part of a family member in daily life.

In this essay, I will give evidence for both of these opinions and give my opinion.
On the one hand, there are several reasons that affect a child's development from media, pop culture and friends. Firstly, the books offspring read and the movies they watch form their belief system. In other words, children tend to copy the behavior of their favorite personality or fictional character. Secondly, when children work and play in groups, they are influenced by their peers. For example, they have more faith in friends than their own family so they easily follow the actions their classmates say without knowing if it's right or wrong. Finally, sometimes young people want to have everything they want. For instance, children demand toys that they see on television or their friends have.
On the other hand, there are several important factors that greatly influence the development of children from the family. a child's personality is easily affected by parent's personality at a very young age. Moreover, educate the child how to respect elders and treat others nicely is the important job of parents that no one or anything can replace. Therefore, a child's personality when grown up, good or bad, is the result of his parents' upbringing when he or she was young

On the one hand, Children today tend to look up to celebrities and great artists. Numerous children who enjoy imitating their idols life style. They  listen to the music of their idols all day long. Young genderation also often express themselves in ways similar to those of their friends. They  discover new something exceptional when playing together because they are in groups with others who have similar personalities. Friends of a group is significantly impacted by attitudes of other members. In technological advancement, the media has a significant impact on young people. They spend a lot of time with video games, websites, and watching movies. For instant, Children spend hours on tiktok or facebook instead of opting to read books. 
On the other hand, it is the parents who has the greatest influence on a child. In reality, a lot of factors of a child are shaped by their parents. Children learn to imitate their parents such as habits, community skills and social skills from a very young age. This influences each child's mentality and character.  
In conclusion, although many people think that children are  getting affected by fashion trends, social media and their peers, There are still some areas which are significantly developed by their parents

There are several reason why many people consider that media, pop culture and peers have a profound impact on teenagers. The first reason is that the fast pace of life and the generation gap which make adults spend more time at work instead of playing with their children. Therefore, juveniles tend to play in a group of friends who have similar interests or personalities. It is easy for them to share with each other  their plans, thoughts, or feelings so close friends often bring about a same energy. The second reason is the growth of technology nowadays leading to children's early exposure to social network. Almost of them spend many time on devices to learn, entertain or text with their fellows. Most of them say that their knowledge and information comes from the Internet. Besides, influencers such as pop singers, dancers also exert an crual affect on young people. They idolize someone and will imitate the way they dress, talk or think. It is also the reason why famous people always pay attention to their manners which indirectly affects their young fans' thought.
