Since 2006 until present , Mr.Pot is still working as independent artist ,composers and producers. Eventually, he describes band performer especially instruments player are difficult to share profits and fame with the collaboration artist if the musicians doesn’t involves in a composing sections. For instance , drummers on his famous days only paid for playing accompany in recordings and the name of the drummer doesn’t exist and gained no royalties in the participating of jamming this song. Besides , he also gain experiences from past which is the day when he was an artist of EMI Malaysia . In his words, most of Innuendo band songs are composed by others composer not only get the songs royalty unsuccessfully ,it also limited their style of his vocals performance due to the restricted rules and regulation of creating own songs in positive tones . Hence ,he decided to work as an independent artist .In his role as an company artist , he only able to work on the songs that provides by the company resources . By now as an independent musician artist , he is free on his creation process and outcomes. For instance, the main role of himself including design his own theme of his singles and albums ,create a demo and produce it or sent it to music producers ,record it lively, then outsourcing the mastering of songs to others professional audio mastering engineers, finally promote his outcomes to the publics and receive the results.

 

During the interviews, Mr. Pot has sharing me his own band which have a same name as their first album called “Alkaline Radiostar” which is promoting his self-created music genre called “Alkaline Jazz” in 2019. In his words, the genre itself is the way he promotes his idea of creating process and the words “Alkaline” metaphors the meaning of being justice without influence others deliberately such as accompaniment , peaceful ,joy ,gentleness, self-control and chill ,and the words “Jazz” is metaphor as improvisations in life which is doing everything by following your heart .Besides , the idea of “Alkaline” is origin from Mr. Pot while he travels to Kenyir lake .In this trip, he had drink the alkaline water from the mountain after the recommendations of Residents and found it makes him feel peaceful. Hence, he decided to composed music which is contrast to the “Acidic Music” world and advocates the idea of naturally. In this album, there is a remake A Capella version of his Innuendo bands popular song’s cover, which is “Belaian Jiwa” with new arrangement in A Capella’s harmonies. In conclusion, the main theme of his first album is a starting point of being changes to an “Alkaline” musician-artist.

During the interviews, he will release his next album called “Rhapsody” by next year which promoting “Alkaline Jazz” with a theme related with marriage and family. Besides, he hope that everyone could experience the transform from acidic to alkaline .Therefore, he try planning to organized an open trips to Kenyir lake and get purify by alkaline rain in the forest. In conclusion, Mr. Pot is still working as independent artist ,composers and producers to pursuit his dream to found his own “alkaline community” and sharing the idea of “alkaline” to the world.By now , Pot Amir is the founder and developer of the genre 'Alkaline Jazz' .

 

In Mr. Pot’s present excerpts, I found out deafferentation between him and others young musicians in lyrics context . When presents young musicians talk about their pursuits on fame and money in their songs , he talk about being naturally in emotions and not too pursuit on things might be disable one day, yet precious on things which would not be disable ,which are self-values ,faith , kindness and love. To conclude this interview, I have ask him when he having the thought of being “alkaline”, then he answered : “Since I was young , I have understands the inner-values is more valuable than any materials from this world ,this is also the reasons why I debuted as RnB boy band which following my heart naturally. In fact ,I have never develop myself in idea of “alkaline” during my days in EMI. After few years I leave EMI ,I have surprisingly found out the idea of “alkaline” is born with me. Hence, I decided to capture the precious moment in rest of my life by learning to develop the value with idea of “alkaline” in my future. In conclusion , I am giving my whole respect to his humbles and natural’s thought to his process of creating a values not only music.

Besides, their vocals consists of run and riffs in a blue scales which also the traits of  western contemporary RnB music in 90's.Moreover , another traits of western contemporary RnB music in 90's could be found is the heavy reverb in the final mixings .In additions, the keys instruments in this song is having a vibe of  western contemporary RnB music in 90's.
