In this graph it breaks down the difference in debt between the advanced economies and the developing economies.
As the graph shows back in the day the debt in Canada was extremely bad but as the years have gone on Canada has actually gotten a lot better. But When the next wave of public debt distress hits foreign governments, Canadian investors, borrowers, and exporters will all be affected. I chose this image because it gives you a clear understanding of the information they are trying to get across.

In this graph it will show the household debt in Canada each year from 2001-2016. The interesting thing about this graph is over the past 15 years debt in households has been on the rise but it stays fairly steady for 5 years then increases after those 5 years. I chose this image because with this topic we are on today this gives everyone a great visual of how things have changed over the years.

This website touches on the lack of knowledge both men and women have towards basic financials. The reason I chose website was because it goes into depth about how poorly both men and women both did when taking a survey on basic financials. Only 16% of men and 9% of women answered the survey questions correctly. Another reason as well is how they discussed college and university degrees play a factor in the basic knowledge, saying that if you have a degree you are better off which is something I agree with.

In Canada, we do not have a system that employees and empowers recent graduates, and that hurts the economy. Fix this, and everything else will fall into place.
