In my opinion, teachers do not have to use one pedagogy alone since it cannot address the needs of various student learning and environments. As stated by Brown (2000) in "Principles of Language Learning and Teaching," effective language teaching must consider the uniqueness of learners as individuals, for instance, their unique style and likes. One-size-fits-all may lead to disengagement and confusion among most learners. Also, I agree with what other students say in the video regarding following a fixed syllabus, that makes such teachers less flexible hence the needs of the classroom will not be addressed.

For example, an ESL high school class in which students are of diverse backgrounds and possess differing degrees of proficiency in English. A grammar-based teacher may struggle to retain students who are most appropriate for interactive, communicative settings. Instead, by integrating a communicative language teaching (CLT) model with task-based learning activities, the teacher can create a more dynamic learning environment.

Furthermore, by rotating through various activities—some centered on grammar and others on communicative tasks—the teacher can reach both the analytical learners who benefit from structured lessons and the creative learners who flourish in interactive environments (Brown, 2000).
