I made this toy sailboat out of paper, chopsticks, toothpicks and two water bottles.
Step 1: attach a piece of paper to two water bottles.
Step 2: attach a pair of chopsticks to the paper
Step 3: poke a hole in the paper and put the toothpick through the chopsticks to secure the chopsticks.
Step 4: fold a piece of paper into a triangle and tape it to the chopsticks to secure it.
My reason for using these materials is because the water bottles are easy to float and the paper, chopsticks and toothpicks are lightweight yet strong enough to hold the sail in place.

I used Styrofoam as the hull as it is waterproof and floats, some double side tape to stick a chopstick to the hull. The chopstick is to hold onto the sail as it is strong. For the sail, I took a plastic bag and cut it into a triangle, then I taped the top using normal tape and put it onto the chopstick. Then, I took another chopstick and used the bottom of the triangular plastic to wrap around the chopstick once. After that is done, I took the chopstick which was wrapped in plastic and used tape to stick it together with the other chopstick.
I also took a playmobile as I wanted a little decoration.

It is also waterproof and strong.
Mast: I used wooden chopsticks as the wood can support the sail and is strong and waterproof so it will not absorb the water when a huge wave splashed onto the boat.
Sail: I used plastic bags as plastic is waterproof and will not absorb the water when a huge wave splashed into the boat.

The steps I took are:
1. I put the mik bottles side by side and then taped them together.
2 I then slotted 2 chopsticks at the start and end of my boat.
3. Following that, I cut a plastic bag into 2 parts, folded each of the chopsticks to make the sail.
