  • From personal observations, one of the major challenges Filipinos are encountering is the loss of livelihood and source of income.
  • Related to the previous, many Filipinos are struggling financially to support their families and to generate a stable income.
  • Online distance learning not only brings financial difficulties but also affects the mental health of most students and even the administrators'.

    • It must be taken into consideration that numerous Filipinos are forced to think of ways to survive through this pandemic, even though it is out of their control, also for them to supply the needs of their families
    • It could not be prevented that families suffering from poverty for a long time could not support themselves by buying a gadget to attend their classes online.

    - Assistance in the form of ayuda, with consideration for the nutrition of the residents


    Implementation:
    • Giving of food and supplement packages to residents in Baseco Compound, Manila
    • Done weekly
    • Door-to-door basis 
    • Covid-19 guidelines will be observed; volunteers will be handing the package to each constituent in order to prevent exposure via mass gatherings 
    • There is a designated time for each household, so chaos will be prevented
    • Collaboration with the LGU to ensure its effectivity
