being able to use sources as support. I hate doing research on databases but I know googling for research can lead to nonacademic sources. reading and sifting through those sources are so time consuming, and it's a lot of reading difficult things. can be boring. i need to figure out how to tackle this better

How to add research to paragraphs I write. How much should be research vs how much is my thoughts. The class I took before explained this fairly well, but I still feel it's blurry sometimes, like am I using too little or too much from the research.

Other courses will have research papers or just essays of some kind. When you are in the habit of writing properly, it just comes. My first semester, I wrote half sentences and not always with punctuation on things on Canvas, and that didn't go over well. I think this course will focus my attention on actually writing competently! A skill we all need :)
