Why are African nations and South Asian nations  most likely to be hit the hardest by the global economic shut down? Why can the global north manage to impose the outbreak but the global south cant?

The large racial gap between white and black Americans has grown even wider especially during these times. For example African Americans there was a part in the video that mentioned the word systemic inequality meaning because The most plausible explanation for income inequality's apparent effect on health and social problems is 'status anxiety'. This suggests that income inequality is harmful because it places people in a hierarchy that increases status competition and causes stress, which leads to poor health and other negative outcomes. Now the amount of African Americans being affected by the covid 19 is disproportional. And the global north knows this but yet nothing has been done to help. During these times help is very much needed and yet nothing has been changed so why do they have to be treated differently. Actions have to be taken asap.

Covid 19 really hit the U.S hard. For us not to be use to none of this it became an ultimate disaster. The U.S has lost so much money due to this pandemic. So many citizens got laid off or just cannot go back to work. This forced the government to have to give money. Also  just wearing mask and everything you use to do on an everyday basis you can't even do anymore.  This virus literally came out of nowhere and then you just start to think back to when things were normal. Now you question yourself asking if things will ever go back to normal or would this be the new norm?

The impact of Covid-19 has on the community is that during this pandemic the government was forced to send us stimulus checks and ebt cards for the parents so, they were kind of losing their money. Also, covid has changed us a lot because we had to wear a mask on a daily basis, staying 6ft, and whenever we go to a store we would have to stand in a line outside just to wait to enter because it was a certain amount of people that could enter and I feel like that’s something we aren’t use too.

Not a lot of people can benefit with the things this virus have done to the world. It's changing our lives and it's becoming difficult for some of us. Outside use to be an escape for people who was going through things at home which now they have to deal with. This impact effective the community because it has taking away our freedom and has giving us things we aren't use to. For example, wearing a mask everywhere you go when leaving the house, staying 6ft apart away from each other. It's becoming so difficult for others so much, that they disobey the rules and are having protest about the masks. Even though the virus is rotting us and making us unemployed, it gave us some benefits. Streets and are becoming cleaner, air quality is improving, some water is becoming more clearer. Improvements is being made around the world which is the greatest cause that's happening since the outbreak.

The impact COVID 19 had on americans is the rate of unemployment to address issues like benefits, paid leave, teleworking, emergency occupational licensing, medical professional licensing and workers compensation. May families were put out their homes and torn apart, this was Americas new norm and no one was use to it. Covid has affected mental health. It has caused some peoples anxiety levels to raise. People have been suffering from depression even more because of being isolated. What is the government doing to help those Affected African American communities that are so heavily affected?  
Why don't the country as a whole promotes healthier food choices if food choices play such a major role in the leading causes of deaths in the country?.

Coronavirus came when no one was expecting it, and took the world by storm. for months, we have been told how to prevent it and lower the curve and still months later no significant progress has been made. Not much people can have the luxury to say that they haven't been affected by the disease. Sometimes i wonder if this is our new normal and maybe it's for us to get accustomed to it.  Some people don't want to go to the hospital and get treated for the virus, because they have to think of the medical bills after they get treated. In times of sickness they shouldn't have to worry about anything but their recovery.

They're used to having everything they want without worrying about budgeting. I noticed that the first family had a nicely furnished house and Apple products and three cars. The other guy in the video had a small successful business prior to the pandemic. Since the pandemic, they're being forced to be frugal and a little more responsible with their money. When I saw the guy cry at the end, honestly Ms. Whelan, I didn't feel sorry for him. The "struggles" they're going through is a struggle that minorities go through everyday. Even before the pandemic. Minorities know what it's like to be oppressed and I feel like people are now starting to see what that feels like. The coronavirus was something no body expected to happen, now when it did happen no one knew what to do, what it was, and how deadly it is. When force to have a lockdown many of the people are facing a lot of hardships since they are not with a job at the moment, and are struggling to support their family. Although the lockdown was enforced, it did some good on the environment since less and less people weren't traveling which shows how our daily commute hurts the environment since we were all mandated to stay home.  Why didn't the Government help them, by  trying to get an empty house to store more food? Why  did it hit the African Americans hard?  Why do people want to go back to the time when the environment was unpleasant? 

It is unfair how the government does not do enough to help people who have nothing, no resources  , or anything to support themselves in time like this. The government does not even support the kindhearted ones who have the heart to help those who have nothing to give them in return. This event proves and shows that history repeats itself, this is the number one thing that the Spanish flu and the coronavirus have in common. American government in 1918 and  2020 ignored or down graded the pandemic which delayed their campaigns. The government gave unresearched and unhelpful advice that will have been a serious if taken seriously, while the government partied and ignored it people were dying. The government only took it seriously when it hit someone in their family or it got so bad that they could not ignore it anymore.  The Coronavirus impacted a lot of people, they are either unemployed, struggling to pay their bills or they are loosing a lot from their businesses. While watching the video ¨Why the corona-virus is hitting African Americans so hard¨ I decided to look into the comments, the first comment I came across was someone saying ¨Playing the race card, how about eating and living healthy try it!¨. I was very disappointed by what I saw in that comment section. People refuse to properly educate themselves on African American issues but continuously showcase their ignorance by making such comments. Many individuals could only afford food from the dollar menu which is very unhealthy and pray for the day that they could eat a healthy full course meal. 
Questions: Is there a way of providing low-income families with healthier food options for a more affordable price?

And they are trying their best to help their families and with the issues that the virus is causing it's getting worse for the people who weren't living in the best condition before. Now with the virus out there, they can't really get the help they once got from their communities and friends, because the people who were relying on the foods at schools or other places where they usually spend their day before the COVID are now force to starve and suffer at homes or foster homes that aren’t treating them right.

Covid-19 had impacted the U.S. in many different ways. When it first started no one took it seriously because who would have thought that it would be this bad. I have never even experienced something like being quarantined for months and having to wear masks everywhere that I go and I know that a lot of people can relate. When I am wearing a mask I do not feel free, especially when it’s mandatory to wear one when in a public area. Also people are losing money due to this pandemic because a lot of businesses are closing and its very hard to get a job because how will they even pay you if they’re losing money too. Another thing that has changed for a lot of people are their daily routines. I say this because now that everything is mostly closed everyone is always at home doing nothing or mostly just sleeping and where is that getting anyone.

Covid has affected everyone around the globe. There are some similarities and some differences. The similarities are that we now have to wear masks every moment we step out of the house to not just only protect ourselves but to protect everyone else in this world. Also, we had to close down a lot of businesses for a while. That caused many businesses to lose money. Covid is different in the U.S . because all this staying home sort of made people to rage. The killings have increased, as well as rasicom. We even protested for a while. That would've never been done if it wasn't for Covid.

1) Will there ever be a cure to this virus?

2) Say there is a cure, is it just going to take COVID away for good or is it going to be another sickness like the flu during the flu season?

So many different things have occured because of the pandemic that has been among us this past year. The number of businesses available to people has decreased; leading to a large amount of people registering as unemployed. Adding to that, COVID-19 has changed everyone´s daily routine. We can't eat, interact with others or even breath,  the same way anymore and it´ll be like this for a while. Furthermore, students and educators have been impacted a ton. Teachers have to adjust to a new way of teaching students and distributing the knowledge necessary for them to graduate. Meanwhile, students have to adapt to a new way of learning and find out how to maintain a decent gpa. COVID-19 has affected a variety of people in a variety of ways. There's nothing we can do but follow protocol to the best of our ability and wait till it gets better. Some questions that I have are: When will vaccines be distributed? What will happen if people refuse to take the vaccine?

This pandemic is hurting small business but also the low class people. People lost their jobs and some can not provide for their families. The struggle for them is that unemployment is not helping every person in the U.S and some have to find other ways because of their kids. People are stressing because of the economic. Some people are making $400 a week but that isn't enough for the food and rent. People are asking for loans because they don't have money and they need. Some got robbed and now are struggling to make money during this pandemic. In my opinion we lost a lot of people because of corona and people are going broke and are desperate to make money. There should be a change because it is not fair for the families with kids struggling to make money for food and a roof.

A lot of essential jobs are shared by African Americans. These jobs that are not in the health profession , including bus drivers, train operators and custodians, are overrepresented by communities of color. Furthermore in video #4 ¨Families stuggle to make ends meet while navigating COVID-19 economic relief¨ Why does it have to be a long stressful process for people who are curently starving. Theres a wait for money and not enough to help at least theres help but why werent arrangments made to be able to work still and be safe.

Covid-19 has impacted America in many of ways, such as causing plenty of businesses to close. The businesses that were closed provided people with many resources. Covid-19 has impacted families heavily, because a lot of providers were not able to properly give their families the things they needed because of job losses. People have not been able to pay their rent or even buy enough groceries to last a whole week. Covid-19 has also effected children. Children weren't able to do school sports, fully enjoy their summers, go to in person school, have interactions with others, or even go outside to get a breath of fresh air. Even with us being able to have more freedom with this virus going on, we still have to wear those uncomfortable masks and be cautious around others. This virus has stopped large gatherings, parties, and social interactions. Lastly, Covid-19 has impacted the economy. The virus has caused America to spend and give out more money than they would've ever imagined. It's hitting Africa so hard because they are already dealing with pre-existing diseases. They hold a lot of essential jobs like black people tend to work outside and come into contact with people in poor condition and may have health issues. The corona virus impacted the world because it many people to lose their jobs which caused many families to struggle. Since people were losing their source of income the government gave out a few stimulus checks which weren't enough to support families for a long period of time. Covid has affected people in some of the worst ways possible. Especially people suffering from things like high blood pressure and diabetes. People with diabetes need some type of exercise in their daily life. Walking throughout the house might not be good enough for them because they'll get distracted easily. Also stress raises people blood pressure. Which is being stuck in the house all day is bad for them.

Also, if fuel, gas etc. is bad for the planet why do we keep using it? Why not come up with something more useful for us to use without hurting our planet.
