         <description><![CDATA[<div>This documentary takes an in depth look at the Steven Truscott case. It looks at the causes behind his wrongful conviction which included; false confessions, mistaken eyewitness testimonies, flawed forensic and expert testimonies and tunnel vision on the part of police investigators.<br><br>The details in this documentary are important to the case as they show how badly it was mismanaged. It provided details which showed false confessions, mistaken eyewitness's and most importantly that the police were proceeding with the intent to convict Truscott and because of this puit an innocent man behind bars for 10 years.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This map shows the area which the case revolved around. Steven Truscott was bring Lynne Harper to Highway 8 from their school. Lawson's bush is the location where Lynne's body was discovered, however Truscott was seen by two eyewitness's heading past the bridge north of the bush. Truscott was later seen returning from Highway 8 without Lynne, again seen by two eyewitnesses. However accounts from other individuals who were changing their stories lead to this alibi being ignored by police.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Pictured below is Sgt. Alexander Kalichuk. Sgt. Kalichuk was a known offender who was residing in Clinton, ON a few years before Lynne Harpers death. Kalichuk however still had ties to the town and was known to return on a fairly regular basis. Kalichuk would have been a serious suspect in the case, however prosecutors ignored any and all evidence that was brought forward to them regarding Kalichuk. It is likely that this was done to keep attention away from the military. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Pictured below is Steven Truscott along with his wife Marlene. Even after serving 10 years in prison and going through his parole Steven never gave up and continued to fight to clear his name. In 2008, 48 years after his conviction Truscott was finally Acquitted and received 6.5 million dollars from the Ontario government. Truscott used a portion of this money to fund a scholarship in justice studies at the university of Guelph. Truscott now lives quietly with his wife and children in Guelph Ontario</div>]]></description>
