Honestly, a very easy class. No quizzes or tests, and very minimal homework. Just don't let missing work pile up, because then it starts to get stressful.

Get all of your work done, and on time. A surprising amount of assignments (This doesn't only apply to US II, it also applies to pretty much any class) are graded mostly on completion.

Essentially all you need to do to succeed in this class is work hard and give it your best. In retro spect this class is much easier than APUSH which is probably why you took it. But that doesn't you should just expect a god grade to be handed to you. You will have to work hard and put in effort to see good results in Powerschool.

There are no tests, so if you simply stay on top of your work, you can easily pass.

This class is very easy going - nothing to stress over or dread to go to. Not much homework is assigned unless classwork wasn't finished. Just pay attention and use the class time given efficiently. Try to submit assignments on time.

You won't have much homework or any test. But lot of your grade is made up by presentations or class discussions so this will probably help your public speaking skills if your the type of person who is quiet. Make sure do your research on projects and hand in your assignments on time and you'll be sure to have good grade in this class.

US History 2 with Mrs. Manhart is pretty fun. You learn a lot, but not in a boring way. My advice to a future student is to just make sure you get your work done. Most of the time you’re provided with time to do them in class. Just get it done.

I think it is important to be genuinely interested in the material being covered in order to make the most of the class. I also recommend discussing the content with friends. You can learn much more about the topics and have fun making connections between units and current events.

The work you are assigned in this class is almost always do able in a period, so if you work effectively you will rarely have homework!

DO YOUR WORK ON TIME! You will have very little trouble if you actually complete the work and turn it in on time. Also for presentations make sure you know what you are talking about because if you forget to put in on the slide you can just say out loud and you probably won't lose points.

In this class it is important to participate a lot and just make sure you pay attention. There is not a lot of homework but there is classwork therefor you must know what is happening in the class. Also make sure to keep your phone away and do not pack-up to early.

Make sure that you are thoroughly engaged in the class, because class discussions are a really big part of your grade, and it can help you with public speaking as well. Make sure to stay focused in class because if you do your classwork, you will probably not have to worry about homework!

I really enjoyed ms Manhart's class. It is an easier class to take but you still learn a lot. You dont have any tests for the most part but you really learn how to work with a group and present the topics you learned about. Just make sure you turn in your work and you will be all set.

I think you'll get out what you put in in this class - if you just want to get a good grade while not doing that much effort, you definitely will be able to. But if you try to care about the things being taught and are interested in the subjects, the class will be a lot of fun and not difficult at all.

Stay organized - A lot of the packets and google docs that you take notes on and read will help you later in the quarter that you might not expect.
DW if you miss an assignment. Ms. Manhart is Very forgiving and she will always help you out if you need.
Make sire you stay on task during class. Even being distracted for a couple of min can reply confuse you, especially during class presentations and note taking.

Be open to learning new topics and events that might seem like they sound boring. Most of the time events and themes from history are really interesting and fun to learn about.

Be prepared to speak in front of the class a lot because there will most likely be a presentation if you've done slideshows in this class. There are essays but no assessments so it's fairly a class with pretty hefty workload in class but not much work outside of class.

I think this class is very fun and chill because there isn't that much homework. I think the biggest takeaway from this class is to be prepared to participate and be comfortable with presentations. I recommend doing your work in class as you won't get as much homework. Doing so will guarantee you an A.

Hard works pays off. Always put your 100% effort into anything you do for this class. You learn so much fun and interesting stuff, so completing the work is not that bad considering how interesting the material is. Submit your work on time or else you’ll start bad habits of falling behind. Always stay on top of your work in class and check powerschool for missing work. This class is very fun and I wish you the best!

A lot of people already wrote this, but this is a pretty easy class when it comes to getting an A. There are no tests, so the only way to get a good grade is to participate and complete work. Use class time productively, so you get less work to do at home. Communicate with your teacher too - Ms. Manhart is really sweet and understanding, so don't hesitate to ask her a question or let her know if you're struggling with work; she can help you out. Just make sure to complete work, avoid letting it build up, and this class should be a breeze!

Honestly, this class is easier that US I. If you just pay attention in class and do your work, you're chilling. Ms. Manhart teaches well and she also tries to make class fun. You get to do things like doc scavenger hunts around the school. If you're good at yapping (like me!), you'll do well on presentations. Basically no tests, just discussions and classwork. A lot of group work though.
