<title>Plasma is an ionized gas consisting of positive ions and free electrons in proportions resulting in more or less no overall electric charge, typically at low pressures (as in the upper atmosphere and in fluorescent lamps) or at very high temperatures (as in stars and nuclear fusion reactors).</title>

<title>Particles in a liquid are close together but they do not remain in a fixed position – they are free to move.&amp;nbsp; The particles of a liquid are moving much faster than those in a solid. As a result, they do not have a definite shape.&amp;nbsp; Instead, liquids take the shape of its container.&amp;nbsp;Although liquids do not have a definite shape, they do have a definite volume.</title>

<title>Gases have neither a definite shape nor a definite volume.&amp;nbsp; A gas fills all the available space in the container, regardless of all the size or shape of the container.&amp;nbsp; This is because the particles in a gas are moving very rapidly and are spread apart.</title>
