It was a base in a demilitarized zone, and was a base transported with lots of supplies. After that around 15,000 - 20,000 PAVN Soldiers surrounded the base, and began launching an assault on the base. The U.S. won because they PAVN failed to take the base.</div>]]></description>

In the early years of the war it remained peaceful, and also the largest city to be protected by PAVN. After the Tet Offensive, ap owerful PAVN and VietCcng assault quickly pushed back the scattered U.S. forces. PAVN also claimed lots of land after the battle.</div>]]></description>

This is because the Vietnamese were used to the tall trees, big forests, and most American soldiers didn't know how to traverse it as well as Vietcong. Some mistakes could've been destroyed the Vietcong population, most of the battles fought in Vietnam had a lot of civilian casualties and some of those casualties were children</div>]]></description>
