Ever since I was able to swim I have loved going to beaches. But what I do not like is when I'm swimming I see trash in the ocean/lake I’m in.  When people discard their trash in the ocean they kill the population of fish in the ocean. All of this trash is not helping the ozone layer making the sea level rise. Most of the trash is in the ocean because the people not caring, or when they throw it out the dump trucks just don't care as well. And that's why you need to help clean all of the trash in the ocean. 
When people are having a family gathering or a birthday party in the park or by a lake and some trash gets left out by accident but a lot can get left out as well. All of the trash gets blown into the river/lake/ocean then the fish eat the trash and the fish dies. When all of the fish die we will not have many dogs because most dog foods are made with fish to help with their skin or stomach and without that our dogs will get sick and will not have food. The marine life in the ocean will die out sooner if we stop all the plastic from going into the ocean.  In Thailand, 17 Pounds of Plastic Killed a Whale, and when they cut the whale open all they saw was plastic people knew that it is a problem and people try to do good but they can’t because they don't know what to do. The problem is so big but the solution is so easy. 
“We can help get plastic out of our ocean by taking it to different levels”. We can sustain all of the trash in the ocean if we all try. There can be trash cans everywhere so people can throw away their trash in there. Or you Senator Stabenow can make littering illegal so people will get fined for 1,000 dollars or go to jail for 5 days because all of this trash is breaking our world. If we all try to get all of the trash out of the ocean if we all pitch in we can all clean the ocean together. I'm sure you love the Beaches and the Lakes and the Oceans, But that could all go away if the trash covers the Ocean. And that's why you need to help clean our Oceans and Lakes.
