You have to accurately film 15 different shots, including the ones listed below. The importance here is in the framing, and in ensuring that you are able to achieve all of them.

Storyboard the shots out so you know how they are going to cut together afterwards. You should try to have all of these shots work together, so that they edit together into a

journey, either a simple walking journey or a dance if you are confident.

The shots don’t have to be in the order listed here, they can be in any order as long as all of them are included at least once.

The final intention that we intended to portray was emotion and raising awareness of homelessness and in my opinion as a group we were extremely successful in doing this. Emotion was successfully portrayed through the use of the song as well as through the use of facial expressions. 

In reflection on the final piece, I feel that there were a wide variety of positive aspects although I feel that there are certain aspects in which could have been improved on if we were to record the final piece again. An improvement in which we could have made was the costume. By making the costume more realistic we could have created the image of being uncared for and not as groomed as we came across in the video whilst wearing our own clothes. In order to improve this, I would have ensured that I was not wearing any well-known branded clothing and have been not as sharp in my overall appearance. 

Portraying homelessness in a small group on video, I feel did not created as much impact on the target audience as much as we would have liked to portray. Through research, I have come to the conclusion that the vast amount of people that are homeless would have been more successful to portray with more people within the group. I would alter this if I was to record the video again in order to improve on the first time around.

As a group, we came across many difficulties and hit many obstacles when creating the final piece, such as fitting the choreography and the story behind the video into 2 minutes of time, was a challenge. Because we made the decision to split the 2 minutes up demonstrating different addictions such as alcohol, drugs and smoking, we found it challenging to fit the story of becoming homelessness as well as hinting on the addictions. In reflection, the day in which we began to record, I feel that we should have allowed more time to video each section so that we could record each frame of the storyboard and analyse them whilst on set to ensure that the footage was to a high enough standard to include in the final piece. 

A positive aspect of the rehearsal process was the way in which we choreographed the 2 minutes of choreography. Each member of my group assigned themselves an addiction and then went on to create 30 seconds based around that addiction. After finishing choreographing the 30 seconds per person, we then came together to teach each other the short motifs and merge the 4x30 second motifs to create a 2-minute phrase. 

When It came to editing the video footage to create the final piece, I felt far out of my comfort zone although I felt that by following the notes in which I took during the dance for camera workshops, I was able to edit the video alongside my peers within my group quite easily especially with all of our knowledge combined. 

I feel that in reflection to the editing process, we accurately followed the storyboards although where, as a group, we saw extra opportunities to add affects to the video, we did so in order to create a final piece that was aesthetically pleasing and to a high standard. 

Overall, I feel that as a group and individually, the final piece that has been created is to a higher standard than what was expected when beginning this process despite there being little improvements that could have potentially be added if we were to re-record this music video such as adding props and adding a more suitable costume. In reflection, I am happy overall with how the rehearsal process went as well as how the high quality of the final piece.
