The typical Calabrian sweets prepared at Christmas,are the "San Martine".The main ingredients are:dried figs, almonds, walnuts, raisins and some must extract (we usually call it "vino cotto").In this photo you can see some ingredients and the final result!

In our city, Locri, we usually have fun in the local ice-skating rink. Here we can skate or just spend a wonderful time outside the rink eating crêpes or buying Christmas house decorations from the stalls around the square... Shortly we can say that our city in winter is a real Christmas fair ( mercatino di natale). Here are some photos! :)
