In the long term, I think the students can put a different value on learning when it involves their family and other things they care about, and putting a greater value on education is a huge factor for student success in all aspects of their lives.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students who aren't taught with culturally responsive teaching methods may feel that school isn't made for them, and therefore, that education isn't going to help them get to where they want to go. There are a lot of long and short term implications that go along with this mindset. Students who don't experience culturally responsive teaching might not stay in school or pursue higher education because they haven't been able to be successful in lower grades. In the long term, these students might not end up in careers that they want to be in, because they don't have the education background.</div>]]></description>
