There was no electricity, and clothing was much more heavy. It was much harder to live in these conditions, because you would have to deal with hunger, sickness and the temperature around you.
 
The medicine doctors used in the Middle Ages was very strange. Doctors would use the blood, leaves and herbs to seal wounds and create medicines. Most of these medicines didn't help, and some would even kill the patient!
