It gave me a thorough breakdown of the comprehension on the topic through the questions. It offered examples to apply what was read in the topic. I learned that the "meat" or "heart" of the grant is the executive summary. At times that is the only part that is read when foundations have many entries and they have to go through many of them to be able to choose the awarded one. In addition, to the numerous tips Dr. Rockis addresses in writing a well written grant proposal that will stand a chance of being awarded. I enjoyed the time given to really thoroughly go through each section and dedicate time to each section. The literature review was the most intensive part of the research process since I found it difficult condensing 10 sources into one piece of literature. However, once I sorted them out and found a common interest I was able to piece it together. It sounds overwhelming however, with adequate examples it made it quite easy to navigate and construct my own literature review.
