At times that is the only part that is read when foundations have many entries and they have to go through many of them to be able to choose the awarded one. In addition, to the numerous tips Dr. Rockis addresses in writing a well written grant proposal that will stand a chance of being awarded. After, viewing the videos I felt comfortable writing a grant and take with me tips for my future as a librarian where they will become handy.

I really enjoyed the breakdown to writing the research or grant proposal. I enjoyed the time given to really thoroughly go through each section and dedicate time to each section. The literature review was the most intensive part of the research process since I found it difficult condensing 10 sources into one piece of literature. However, once I sorted them out and found a common interest I was able to piece it together. It sounds overwhelming however, with adequate examples it made it quite easy to navigate and construct my own literature review. It really helped that we dedicated time to each part of the process starting with the electronic databases search and then condensing them together for the literature review.

The process was easier with utilizing the survival guide provided by Dr. Gross. There are numerous ways of collecting data. As you write your proposal you will choose which one works best for your data collection.
