I'm so happy that she can walk also I was shook when her dad played the accordion. But if he stayed up all day then did the mom even sleep because I would not it must have been lound. I find cool that she still likes to do school even if she is really sick. When she said that all she need to do was to learn to walk and move her arm I kind of already knew that it would take a away to do that. Because you can't just get up after bed on the bed and not moving you have to learn to walk again and it will take some time.

I am happy that Peg can walk a little with her walking sticks. When I was reading, I folded over a page. It said, " We had the kind of camaraderie that I imagined exists between soldiers in a long and difficult war. In our case, the enemy was polio. Our battle metals were wheelchairs, back and leg braces and walking sticks, we wore them proudly. We were survivors; whatever handicaps we were left with, polio had not claimed our lives, or our spirits." I think that is a very powerful quote. It is awesome that Peg can think that. Also, I looked up camaraderie. It means, "trust and friendship among people who spend a lot of time together." Also, I liked the part where she realized that even with her wheelchair, she could be awesome. I also am glad she attends school now!
Love,
Emily
