It was to fast and we feel like the author could have added more.
-Sometimes the book over explained things and it kind of went a little far fetched at times.

He has a best friend named asher and everybody liked him. At age 12 Jonas was chosen as the receiver of memory to protect his town. Every one else had normal jobs like nurturer, keeper of the old, laborers and more. But jonas got a special job, receiver of memory.
