Amy has been my advisor throughout my year+ in Lindenwood’s library media program. She and I began at Lindenwood at the same time, although she was obviously as a professor/Ed Tech guru and me as a new Master’s student. She’s given me excellent resources through my time here so far.

Nina is a former LM student through Lindenwood, and is currently a library/media specialist at FZW, where I’m currently teaching. She’s been instrumental in helping me branch out in my knowledge of the roles that librarians play, and where to find some of the best educational resources for the classroom and library.

Dr. Maggie is a former librarian at FZW, and was actually the head librarian when I attended school here. She inspired me to pursue library science in the first place. She also was an adjunct professor at Lindenwood, and although I was not fortunate enough to have her in class, she remains a valued mentor and resource.

Christie is a fellow educator in the FZ school district, as well as a library media student in Lindenwood’s master’s program. She and I collaborated on a number of LM projects in the last year, and has proven to be an excellent resource as I navigate through my remaining LM classes.

I first met Jenni at a MASL event, and found out later that she’s currently the librarian at Fort Zumwalt South High School. I met with her quite a bit when I was trying to decide which LM Master’s program to apply for, since she earned her degree through Mizzou’s program and had some additional insight. 

*I’m realizing now that my PLN contacts are limited, especially to my own school district. I’m definitely glad to be making more solid contacts through this class!
