1. This is included because it is the connection between psychology and sociology. Psychology mainly focuses on the study of the mind, and sociology focuses on the interactions between people in society. Social psychology mainly studies behavior. The way people behave reflects their inner mind and beliefs (psychology), and it effects the world around them (sociology).

2. Social psychology studies human interactions and behavior.

3. I would say that psychology focuses more on the individual, while sociology studies that individual's impact on those around them through their behavior.

Both depend on each other for their own comprehension. Their relationship will be clear if we analyze their inter-relationship and mutual dependency. Sociology is a science of social phenomena and social relationship. It is a science of social group and social institutions. It is a science of collective behavior. It studies human behavior in groups. But psychology is a science of mind or mental processes.

John Harley

Social Psychology is composed of both of these topics.
