Keep a running journal stating the time, children involved, adult intervened, child response, activity involved and the patterns observed. 
2. Involve the child’s parents. Do not wait to tell the parents about the child’s behavior in the classroom and use the parents to gain more information about the child, but never blame the parents for the behavior. 
3. Brainstorm with other teachers and staff. List several things that you will try and implement it to the child together and evaluate the behavior after. 

At the center I work at, I have one children that has very difficult behavior. My co-teacher and I have worked together and with the parents multiple times to try and better his behavior. For instance, today the child began to kick and scream after I told him to keep his hands to himself after hitting another friend.
