I teach in Meridian, ID. I never thought I would end up in Idaho, but after living in California for 35 years, I couldn't watch the state continue to deteriorate into chaos. I lived in San Diego, CA and there were homeless people in every neighborhood, graffiti, unbearable traffic, and a complete lack of community. Idaho offers a sense of family-oriented  communities, safety, and respect for law and order.
My IB situation is unique because I took over for a teacher who quit mid-year, so I had to learn the entire IB system while ensuring that my 70+ Lang and Lit students were prepared for the IO!

Are there any changes this year?
3. How can you develop positive online professional relationships for the workshop and beyond?
After the COVID fiasco, I have developed a strong dislike for any type of online "relationships", but I try to stay positive and approach every thing I do with enthusiasm.
4. What does a successful outcome look like for you after this workshop? List three things you want to achieve.
I want to be as prepared as possible for teaching Lang and Lit year 1. I feel extremely confident about my course outline, but I'd like to know more about year 2!
