We were given choices and grouped by interest. <br>4. Freedom to research and time to complete tasks..<br>5. Give them a specific task with explicit instructions and time limits. Allow students a choice and assign jobs to keep students on task. Give students a model of what was expected. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Grouped students based on interest and allowed us to pick from 3 jobs. Walked around classroom while we were working. Reminded us of time.<br>2. The tasks allowed us all to learn the information but in different ways. Facilitator monitored, but didn't interfere unless a question was specifically asked.<br>3. Different formats to explore interests and learn.<br>4. Allowing us to take accountability and work at our own pace.<br>5. We could use this in the classroom in both the science and the math classroom. For math, this could be used during a unit on ratios and the real world integration of recipes. </div>]]></description>

Checking in with one another and sharing information as well as collaboration for design format assisted, too.<br>2. Each of us had accountability for bringing useful information to the group in order to complete the assigned task.  Each person understood their roles and stayed on task. Q&amp;A was our facilitation method.<br>3. Learners were allowed to work in their area of strength, complementing each other's weaknesses. This created a more comfortable work experience for learners.<br>4. Extended time, flexibility in final product presentation.<br>5. Limit number of final product submission, cap group numbers according to roles. </div>]]></description>
