Jobs and time constraints
2. Allowed to choose which question to answer and which platform to use for final product. Teacher used close monitoring.
3. We were given choices and grouped by interest. 
4. Freedom to research and time to complete tasks..
5. Give them a specific task with explicit instructions and time limits. Allow students a choice and assign jobs to keep students on task. Give students a model of what was expected.

Grouped students based on interest and allowed us to pick from 3 jobs. Walked around classroom while we were working. Reminded us of time.
2. The tasks allowed us all to learn the information but in different ways. Facilitator monitored, but didn't interfere unless a question was specifically asked.
3. Different formats to explore interests and learn.
4. Allowing us to take accountability and work at our own pace.
5. We could use this in the classroom in both the science and the math classroom. Assigned tasks assisted us in staying focused. Checking in with one another and sharing information as well as collaboration for design format assisted, too.
2. Each of us had accountability for bringing useful information to the group in order to complete the assigned task.  Each person understood their roles and stayed on task. Q&A was our facilitation method.
3. Learners were allowed to work in their area of strength, complementing each other's weaknesses. This created a more comfortable work experience for learners.
4. Extended time, flexibility in final product presentation.
