One quiet morning, the ground began to shake beneath the village near Mount Zeva. Birds flew away as a deep rumble echoed from the mountain. Suddenly, lava burst from the top, and thick smoke filled the sky, turning day into night. People ran to safety while fire and ash rained down. When the eruption stopped, the land was covered in black rock, but the village promised to rebuild, stronger than before.

Heavy rain poured nonstop for days, turning the peaceful village of Kampung Damai into a sea of muddy water. The riverbanks overflowed, and soon, homes were submerged, and families scrambled to higher ground. A girl named Laila clutched her cat and waded through waist-deep water with her parents, searching for shelter. Rescue teams arrived with boats, guiding villagers to safety at the nearby school hall. Though their house was lost, Laila was grateful her family was safe — and so was her cat.

I had an experience where my hometown is covered with flood. My family and I kept the important documents at a safe place. We cleaned our house together after the water from the flood decreased. It was a bad experience for me and i really sad because some of my belongings cannot be used anymore.

At first, i feel so scared because the water rised so quick and my family couldn’t have so much time to evacuate. My family and I went to the rooftop to call for help. Even it’s dark up there but we didn’t have other choice but just to wait patiently in cold and dark floody neighbourhood. that was the most scariest thing i have experienced.

A heavy rainstorm hit the small town of Elmsford and lasted for days, causing the nearby river to overflow and flood the town. The water rushed through the streets, sweeping away cars, homes, and every thing in its path. Sara grabbed her dog and climbed to the roof as the floodwaters rose around her. Suddenly, a helicopter flew overhead and rescue boats came to help her and the neighbourhood. After few days, the rain has finally stopped, and the town was badly damaged but the people came together to clean up and rebuild the town area.
