Whenever someone asks me about my learning devices, I say a laptop and smartphone. In this innovative world, living without them would be like living under a rock. I love phones as they are portable and enable me to respond to my questions. Aside from the usefulness of phones, laptops are the most efficient devices that perform and complete tasks. In addition, most of the work laptops perform can be done on phones, but they are not as fluid and flexible as the laptop.
I use the phone as a casual device and the laptop as the main workstation. The funny thing is that I have a Window running on my laptop and IOS for my phone. I believe that in learning digital literacies, laptop would be essential in managing my work. As a technology trend settler I use software- Blender, Adobe, and IDEs, and skill share and social media apps. I use Blender for creative processes and YouTube and Skill Share for learning purposes.

Before the PowerPoint crash course, I was afraid of learning new software. But most of my doubts change. I am now more confident in using the software. The software PowerPoint is a program developed by Microsoft to create slide shows of important information, charts, and images to make the presentation. First of all, the instructions were straight to the point. I had no difficulties when following the instruction sheets. I must admit that I found problems during my learning hours. Because there is a lot of PowerPoint version, I found it hard to find the documents on the internet when I do not know something. In addition, some features are missing in the official 365 versions. Whether it is because of the recent version or the web browser version, I had to focus a lot more to find the functions that I wanted. Overall, I learn how to use PowerPoint effectively, how to color correct images, and how to add images and decorate smart images and icons.

Upon reviewing my presentation, I have found out that most of my works are OK, and they are a typically average presentations. There are also some skills that I am lacking.
A typical presentation consists of audience engagement and the presenter’s skills. It is said that the presenter plays an important role in drawing the attention of the audiences, this is because audiences determine whether to identify that the presenter is charismatic or not by 38% of one's speech, 55% of one's non-verbal communication. Information on the slides are only accounted for 7% to hook the audience. In addition, there should be relatable experiences in the presentation to make the speech more engaging.

In order to craft an ideal presentation, the information slides are also need to be accessible, and clear to the viewers. Some tips regarding to the slides are as follow. There shouldn't be too much texts in the slide, most newcomers make this mistakes as they are not sure that they are giving an enough information. Secondly, the number bullet points should be restricted. A good sides have no more than six bullet points. Third, the excessive use of animations and effects must be reducing, and the color scheme must be harmonious.
When a person is decided to do a presentation, he must know his parts really well to provide convincing evidences. Moreover, he must also have considered his listeners and viewers to come up with an appropriate presentation. He need to position himself in the right spot, not disturbing the viewers. If it is a group presentation, he must also follow the additional rules such as not talking loudly during your teammates presentation. In collusion one must remember the four key points about presentations. However, one does not have to remain stressed just by thinking about giving a presentation. Because with the right tools and material, preparation, anyone can present with confidence.

1. Knowing your audience.

2. Content preparation.

3. confident.

4. Controlling the mood.

Upon reviewing my presentation, I have found out that most of my works are OK, and they are typically average presentations, but there are also some skills that I am lacking.
A typical presentation consists of audience engagement and audience control skills.

This is the Blender tutorial form Blender Guru channel. Blender is an open source 3D and 2D package that is used by both industrial and small studios. I like this video because this is the most comprehensive video about learning how to use Blender. The voice form the instructors is clear and the tips he gave is reverent to beginners. The video explained in depth instructions about how to use blender. This is also the video tutorial where most of the Blender experts come from. I love this instructional video as this opened the door to 3D and visual effects for me. Now I am more confident in video content creations using this software. This skill is somewhat need in the academic as we need to present our ideas to others not only by words but also by visuals as well. This video is by far the most helpful and interesting video for me. I had also learned camera angles, voice over, optical illusions, and camera frame that can be used in my assessment.

Digital literacies skill is the ability to communicate and learn using modern digital technologies. After studying at digital literacy class for over 10 weeks, it is apparent that using digital software in our daily life is important whether it would be watching news, shopping, or learning.
The most useful skill in digital literacies to connect with your friends efficiently.
Week (11) Teamwork in Video Projects

Teamwork plays an essential role for me while completing the video project. Because doing a video project by oneself is a tiring task as he needs to create, shoot, and edit the video by oneself. However, with teamwork, pitching ideas can be easier, and more creative, after getting ideas one can shorten the amount of preparation time as he can brainstorms the generated idea together. The most important benefit is choosing the right methods when filming the video and this can be achieved by helping one other with decision making processes. When creating either professional or normal quality videos, receiving feedback is crucial in re-editing and changing the video.
Fortunately, with the help of friends, one can asked them to review his project and get necessary feedbacks. For instance, I had taken several feedbacks form
my friends during the video creation process. I was able to cut some
unnecessary contents and made my video quality better just from the feedbacks.
In addition, ideas given by your teammate can sparks some fantastic ideas, that
cannot be formed by normal means.

Firstly, I decided to shoot a stop motion video, but after discussing with my friend, I found that it would consume a lots of time to make one, and form this I was able to switch my content to cloning video. Nevertheless, I got helps form my friends when filming the video. Even though my topic is simple, some shots needed assistance, such as holding the camera for me when I was acting, but with the help of teamwork I was able to complete this video project without difficulties. Therefore, teamwork is indeed important in making video, and in other occasions as well.
