Dear Tree-ear,

Hello this is Crane-man I am so proud of you. You were so brave for going up to the mountains. Even though we had hard times because we lived under a bridge, you turned it all around by going to do pottery with Min. I am so thankful that I have you to take care of me. I really appreciated it when you would bring me food from Min’s house and even before that you would always take care of me with my broken leg.

Another few other things that makes you brave and I good kid is that you never gave up on me and always would think about others before you. I remember when you broke some on Min’s pottery that was placed in his backyard. Even though you came back upset you were still very happy that you got to pay off your debt by working with Min.

I believe that you will do a lot in the future. I know you are still in the mountains but I miss you dearly. I won't be here much longer I have grown ill and I'm very sick. Luckily Min and his wife are taking care of me. Don't be upset if I'm not with you when you get back, I will always be in your heart.

Yours truly,

Crane-man
