The song we wrote has a massive undertone of sex and playfulness while being smooth and catchy.
The lyrics aren't gender specific so it can be interpreted however the listener likes and shows the flexibility of music, as most generic artists write sexual songs which undermine women, whereas this song shows power and equality.
Also the response we got from the rest of our class was expected but still annoyed us, being a predominantly male class the boys of course took the meaning straight out of the song and made dumb jokes, even though when they talk about infidelity or the number of girls "they've slept with" (which I highly doubt is true) its an amazing song and no one jokes about it, which is why the song we wrote has an extra bit of meaning to us now.]]> 2017-11-29 17:46:20 UTC https://padlet.com/JayMarvin/hyukj5al1iux/wish/211530812
