This book is fiction due to scenarios and characters, considering there are angels, fallen angels, and nephlium. The romance comes in to play with the two main characters, a human and a fallen angel with a challenging love. She is a human, 17 and still in school. She is in love with her guardian angel/fallen angel. Her father was murdered a couple years prior. All she has is her mother whom she loves.
Patch- He is on and off from a fallen angel to a guardian angel and then back to a fallen angel. He protects and loves Nora, even though it is against rules for him to. Even through three books, his character is much of a mystery yet.
Vee- She is Nora's best friend, she is typically with Nora and by her side. Her character is feisty and very outgoing, much opposite of Nora.
Scott- He is a nephlium, half human, half fallen angel. At first he had been against Nora, but now he feels it is his duty to protect her, he thinks of her as a very close friend, a sister really.
Hank- He is the true blood that Nora carries. -Nora woke up with amnesia in the cemetery, not remembering anything from the past year and a half.
-Nora was then found by the cemetery night shift worker and he chased her from it thinking she was a typical teenager doing bad things.
-When she got home after walking many miles, and confused. 
-Nora comes home to find that her mom was a mess but put together, and she was also in a relationship with Hank.
-Nora had also found a feather next to her at the cemetery, and felt the need to keep it, which she hid in a dresser drawer. (Which later on we find out that it is Patch's from his wings being torn out.)
-Nora goes back to school, people acting accustom to her three month missing period. 
-Later on through the story, she finds Patch, trying to think of how she knows him. 
-It isn't until later on in the story she finds her memory again with Patch's help, he brings it back to her.
-With her memories back, she figures out that Hank is her biological father and that her sworn enemy in her age group is his daughter.
-Nora and Patch work to take down Hank after finding out he exchanged all of her human/nephlium mixed blood with pure nephlium blood. 
-They ask thee archangels to give them leeway to kill him since he is immortal, they needed their help.

When Nora's memory being lost. when she woke in the cemetery, she had no idea how she'd gotten there or remember the last year when she found out what the year had been. She wasn't sixteen anymore, she was seventeen. They didn't know what had caused her amnesia. Until Patch helped her memory come back, everything slowly came back piece by piece and it was then that she knew it was Hank who had kidnapped her and erased her memory of a year prior.
-Another conflict would be person vs. person when Nora was going through the struggle with remembering Patch. At first he played it off, telling her lies and they had only met briefly before, although it hurt him, he felt she'd be better off without him in her life again, she'd be in danger. Eventually though, he broke down and gave her a way of remembering him, their past and relationship.
-The final conflict would be another person vs. person. The conflict of Hank against his blood daughter. He wanted to use her no matter the cost of her life. He was also a danger to the world planning to go against the fallen angels with the army he created. So finally, Patch and Nora got the chance to take his life. -For instance, Patch gives up his angel wings, gives up his guardian angel roll in order to save Nora's life.

This book definitely sucked me in, I couldn't stop reading until I was finished.
