In the 1980s, a chap called Francesco Cirillo developed a new time-management technique called the Pomodoro. Cirillo wanted to get more out of his working day by remaining intensely focused on tasks for short bursts of time. This is why the Pomodoro technique divides work productivity into 25-minute bursts, with up to five minutes of rest in-between.

My personal experience: So this app is different from what I've seen before. It's not necessarily a calendar but an actual time manger. People tend to burn them selfs out very quickly trying to do everything at once. But this app helps with that. It makes you put in everything that you need to be done and chops it up in time and gives you 15-20 minuets breaks, then will ring when its time to get back to work. This one to me was the most helpful because i would start one thing take a break then do the thing etc..... then go back to whatever i didn't finish.

Just type that, and Calendars 5 will create the event, with the right location and contact. In a few taps connect to your Apple iCal, Google Calendar, Exchange, Yahoo, Facebook, Outlook and AOL.

My personal experience: This app.... if you already have the calendar app on your apple or android then there is no reason to download this app. The only thing that impressed me was that you could talk to it and it would talk back and the side bar tabs that let you know if your next event was a date or a dinner.

ATracker is a time tracking app with an elegant minimalist user interface that is not only very easy to use, but also takes no time to set up.

My personal experience: This app does it all. It reminds you when you should eat, gives you suggestions of when you should go to bed. Theres a color pie chart that shows you whats taking up the most time through out the week. The only problem that I had with the app was the tags. They need to have icons, a task should get an icon automatically depending on its importance which they do have you rate; the other was putting in all my information. This app is very specific. If you don't put in everything right you will end up missing lunch.
