The aspect of Dystopian society in my novel is corporate and bureaucracy control. The author is trying to make a world where nobody is perfect. We may get laughed at for our imperfections, but they make us up.  My characters have ran away, but Tally will come back to Uglyville and become a pretty.  I think that they will be successful. Tally and Shay are on the Uglies. Peris is a Pretty. I like Tally because she isn't afraid to tell us how she feels. She is very down to the point and dangerous.

The type of control being presented in my novel is bureaucratic control. I know this because their rules and regulations are very tough and down to the book. The characters aren't handling it the best. It isn't like anything in our world today "We're not freaks Tally. We're normal. We may not be gorgeous, but at least we're not hyped up barbie dolls." page 79

My characters are named Tally and Peris. Tally is waiting to turn sixteen, so she can become a Pretty. Peris who is three months older is already a pretty. They are not allowed to see each other until Tally is a pretty. "Peris was only three months older than Tally, but dropping her eyes to the floor, she felt like a littlie again." page 18
"Tally reminded herself of her promise to Peris. She was not going to get caught; she had to become a pretty for him." page 24

In my novel there are two villages. Tally lives in Uglyville and Peris is now a Pretty. The
