Surabaya, the second largest city after Jakarta in Indonesia. From the perspective of local people in Surabaya is that some of them uses ai and some of them doesn't. For those who uses ai, they use ai platform/ software such as chatgpt, copy.ai and many more. Most of them uses ai to summaries or rephrase some parts from their project as well as assesments.

From the perspective of people in Indonesia, April 2023, 52% of Indonesia citizen uses ChatGPT. 29% of ai users uses copy.ai, 18% uses Luminar AI, 15% uses Oracle, both Dall-e and Lalal.ai users have the same percentage of 12, and lastly 11% on outmatch.  Most of them said that they use AI for their projects, work, and other circumstances.

Nowadays, in Surabaya most of the people use gadgets. No matter phone, ipad, or laptop most of the people use it. People who work as a parking attendants, service cleaner, or even people in poverty also have or use phones. It does means that smartphones and cell phones aren't that expensive as everyone can use them.

National
In 2021, 76.26% of Indonesians use smartphones. It is on the fourth place for the country with the most smartphones after United States. International Data Cooperation (IDC) said that most of Indonesian uses Chinese brands. As chinese brands are the most affordable ones rather that Apple or Samsung. IDC stated that Chinese brands always made to the top 5 sales over years. Although there are cheap phone brands, Indonesia have a big issue for the IMEI as there are many illegal phones.

These days, gadgets has been a big role on our life. Gadgets has made our life more efficient and easier. In 2023, 64.5% from the whole world population uses gadget. From years, it will grow and many more people will use phone.  According to the data from Central Statistic Agency (BPS), in 2022 there are around 33.44% of children who use gadgets.
