Hello everyone,
My name is Loren Wareing, I'm currently in my third year at UniSA specialising in primary and middle education. Last year I was very fortunate to visit South Korea as part of my TESOL studies. The intercultural exchange provided great inspiration of opportunities as a future educator. I’m hopeful in the future to work closely with new arrival students and ultimately work overseas as an English teacher.
My goal is to learn another language fluently, currently the only language I know is English. I have a slight understanding of the Italian language from primary and secondary schooling.

Hi everyone, my name is Georgina D'Angelo and I am currently in my final year of my Bachelor of Education (Primary/Middle) minoring in Maths and TESOL. In 2014 I completed my Associate Degree in Languages and Culture Studies (Italian) by studying Italian in Italy for the last part of the year and last year was fortunate enough to travel to Singapore on a study tour with UniSA. I am looking forward to being able to use these experiences and my knowledge of other languages when I go out into schools.

I use English for general communication with friends and family as well as for entertainment (watching movies, reading books), and work purposes. In my work, I use English for professional and academic purposes.
I use French to read novels or watch news and movies. I use Chinese to read short texts and dialogues or to listen to songs.
In recent years, as I've travelled more and as others have visited Australia from overseas, I have used spoken Chinese to communicate in countries such as Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, South Korea and Australia. I have also learned basic Bahasa Indonesia and Hanggul. I can increasingly see connections between Asian languages and cultures amongst the rich diversity.
